What's New

Custom Period - A single view for start and end date selection

When selecting a custom date range users are now able to select a start date and end date in a single view. With two months displayed at once and multiple ways to navigate both months and years, moving to the required dates is more efficient. Seeing the date range selected in the calendar helps users to ensure the correct range is selected.

Today option for period selector

To allow a user to see near-time data from the current day a new "Today" option has been added for the period selector. Previously if JA users wanted to see data from today they would need to select today's date as part of the custom dates options. Now JA users can see data that has been analysed from today by selecting "Today". Subsequently the "Last Day" option has been renamed "Yesterday" to ensure it is understood to be distinct from "Today".

Organisation name displayed in scope selector

For customers with forms in multiple organisations, the organisation name will now be displayed above the form name. This assists JA users to differentiate between forms of the same name across different organisations. Single organisation customers will not see the organisation name in the scope selector.

Scope selector sort by form name or organisation name

To help multi-organisation JA users find the forms they want to select more easily in the scope selector sorting functionality has been added. By default forms are sorted as they previously have but can now be sorted by form name or organisation name. Sorting is in ascending order only.

Timeline view improvements

The timeline view now provides users more options for aggregating data. Aggregation options are now as follows:

  • Last Fortnight - 4 hours, 1 day, 1 week
  • Last Month - 1 day, 1 week, 2 weeks
  • Last Quarter - 1 day, 1 week, 2 weeks, 30 days
  • Last Year -  1 week, 2 weeks, 30 days, 90 days, 180 day

The tooltip displayed on hover of the bar chart has also been improved to order the colour sequence to match the bar chart for better readability.

User Journey view segmentation chart extended

Previously when viewing User Journey Segmentation data the top 5 values were displayed and additional values were lumped into a catchall placeholder titled "Other". This has been extended to allow the display of the top 10 segmentation values.

What's Fixed

This release also fixes the following issues:

  • Dropoff View - when 0 completed transactions are available Completion and Abandoned rates will correctly display 0%.
  • Dropoff View - Unnecessary initial requests to the backend have also been removed.
  • User Journey - When Segment cards are displayed with Global Filters applied for Segments queries have been improved to avoid unnecessary errors.
  • Timeline view - Median Time for Total is now being rounded to ensure consistent results.
  • Dashboard view - Median metric definition has been refined.
