Experimental Features

Temenos Journey Manager (TJM) is a comprehensive onboarding platform composed of a suite of mature feature-rich products. The well-developed features in TJM products have their origins in considered product design, a process which continues today influenced by new business requirements, client requests, or just to test out novel ideas. Sometimes, we make early versions of features available and collect user feedback to assess the feasibility of these features. When we do this, we refer to these features as experimental features.

Experimental features are added to our products, with documentation covering the features and how to use them, and released as per the normal release cycle making them available to clients and customers to try out. When first released, an experimental feature's design may still be subject to change as we test the feature and respond to feedback. Once development of an experimental feature is complete, its design is finalized which may result in breaking changes.

Note

We strongly recommend against using experimental features in production environments because they may be subject to breaking changes.

How do I know if a feature is experimental?

You can recognize an experimental feature by looking for the following banner at the top of each topic in this documentation.

Experimental | This is an experimental feature not designed for production environments.

Experimental features may be introduced in any TJM product. To learn about the experimental features in each product, check the product feature lists.
