Submission Categories

Manager categorizes transactions depending on which part of transaction life cycle they are currently in. There are three distinct submission categories:

1. Completed submissions.
2. Abandoned submissions.
3. Submissions as part of collaboration jobs.

You need to understand the differences between these categories to configure Manager's data retention policies, which are used by the Transaction Processing scheduled job to perform the following operations:

• Abandons any transactions that are ready to be abandoned.
• Purges any data and transactions that are ready to be purged.
