View User Accounts

Manager allows you to view the list of registered user accounts as well as manage them.

To view a list of user accounts, select Security > User Accounts.

User accounts are shown page by page, with the maximum number of records per page configured via the user's preferences.

The user account list displays the following details:

• Login Name - a name used to authenticate a user to log onto Manager. It can be a name or an email address
• Full Name - a user's first and last name
• Email - an email address to send notification messages
• Created - date when the user account was created
• Last Access Time - the date and time when the user accessed the account last time
• Type - a type of a user account:
  • Local - user accounts managed by Manager. This is the default user type
  • LDAP - user accounts managed externally by a Manager's LDAPLightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) is an open, vendor-neutral, industry standard application protocol for accessing and maintaining distributed directory information services over an Internet Protocol network. security manager
  • SSO - user accounts managed externally by a Manager's SSOSingle sign-on (SSO) is a property of access control of multiple related, yet independent, software systems. With this property, a user logs in with a single ID and password to gain access to any of several related systems. security manager
• Admin - shows whether a user has the Admin permission or not.
• Status - a status of a user account

  A user account status can be one of the following:

  • Active
  • Inactive
  • Locked
  • Locked Temporarily
  • Pending
  • Rejected
• The total number of user accounts configured in Manager. You can see this information on the bottom left corner of the window. In this example, Manager has 178 registered users.

To filter or search the user accounts by one or more criteria, specify the following settings and click Search:

• User account's name or part of a name.
• Status

  A user account status can be one of the following:

  • Active
  • Inactive
  • Locked
  • Locked Temporarily
  • Pending
  • Rejected
• Space
• User Type
  • Local - user accounts managed by Manager. This is the default user type

Click Clear to reset the search criteria.

You can also perform the following actions:

• Create a user account.
• Configure a user account.
• Remove a user account.
• Bulk Import user accounts.

Click Export Data to export the displayed data as a Microsoft Excel (XLS) file.
