AWS Services Overview

Manager version 4.0 and higher supports AWSAmazon Web Services (AWS) is a comprehensive, evolving cloud computing platform provided by Amazon. It provides a mix of infrastructure as a service (IaaS), platform as a service (PaaS) and packaged software as a service (SaaS) offerings., which allows you to install it on AWS cloud.This, in turn, enables services that make use of AWS S3, AWS SSQ, AWS SST, and AWS KMS solutions. Manager deployment on and interaction with AWS cloud is shown below.

Manager comes with the following pre-built AWS services and service connections:

Cloud specific services and some service connections are not available and can't be manually created, unless the deployment environment matches your installation mode.

To check the installation mode of your Manager server, select System > System Info, find the Build Properties section, and check the deployment.env value. For more information, see system info.

Since Manager 20.05, we have enhanced our service framework, so you can make use of both AWS and Azure cloud solutions.
