Service Connection Overview

Journey Manager (JM) The transaction engine for the platform. |   System Manager / DevOps Platform Developer |  All versions This feature is related to all versions.

Journey Manager comes with services that require connections to external servers to perform their functionality. These connection details are managed separately to services using service connections. This allows you to reuse service connections in different services and change their configurations without modifying services.

Manager includes pre-built connectors for best in class services such as fraud detection, ID verification, digital signatures, and over 30 different connection partners. The integration has already been done, so each connector can be added to the user experience as needed when designing the application.

Manager uses service connection types to define service connections functionality, so you can create your own service connection based on a selected service connection type. You can define a service connection that is:

  • Global - it doesn't belong to an organization and thus can be used by all services.
  • Organization specific - it belongs to a single organization and can be used only by services that belong to this organization.

You can also remove, import and export service connections.
