Export Maestro Forms

MaestroThe UI design product.  |   Form Builder |  All versions This feature is related to all versions.

Maestro allows you to import and export forms, so you can reuse them across different projects, organizations or environments. This saves you time and effort, as you don't need to create a new form from scratch. This process is also commonly used to migrate forms from one environment to another. You can use this functionality to:

  • Rollback one or several forms
  • Re-create one or several forms in another Maestro
  • Promote one or several forms to other environments

To export a form:

  1. Open a project in the Navigator pane where you want to export a form from and click Forms to view the list of forms created in your project.
  2. Select the form you wish to export from the list and click Export Form. Maestro exports the form into a form archive ZIP file, which will be downloaded to your machine.

In some cases, you may need to export the whole project.

To export a whole project:

  1. Open a project in the Navigator pane where you want to export a form from and click Forms to view the list of forms created in your project.
  2. Select the form you wish to export from the list and click Export Whole Project to export the project including all assets and resources. Maestro exports the project into a form archive ZIP file, which will be downloaded to your machine.

Maestro lets you export a form version individually. You can later import the exported form version using the import form functionality described below.
