System Manager / DevOps
A Journey System Manager/DevOps is responsible for the management and maintenance of various Journey Manager (Dev, UAT, etc.) servers. They will provision users, deploy applications, receive notification of issues, and provide internal support as well as liaison with Temenos support should any issues arise. They are also responsible for training on the day-to-day usage of the platform (i.e. assisting with testing, reports, and reading logs). The role is technical in nature, but does not involve development; however, they will need to have a strong understanding of the Temenos Journey Manager and web applications in general.
Example tasks of a Journey System Manager/DevOps include:
- Responsible for governance and processes for the system.
- Liaise with the business stakeholder on new developments.
- Manager vendors.
- Approve requests for Temenos Assist support time to be used.
Prerequisite Skillset of a System Manager/DevOps
- Understand development life cycle and associated various environments (Dev, UAT Staging, and Production)
- Knowledge of the Temenos Journey Manager platform stack and interfaces.
- Understanding of the roles and permissions when providing access to the various environments and product interfaces.
- Able to navigate the Manager dashboard and set properties.
