Manager allows you to view and update metadata of a form version. Metadata can be used to run queries on the set of forms defined in Manager using a Web Service API. Each form version maintains its own set of organization and form metadata independently.

To add a metadata value:

  1. Select Forms > Forms.
  2. Locate a form and click Edit.
  3. Select a form version.
  4. Select the Form Tags tab and click New.
  5. Choose a metadata tag to assign a value to from the Tag Name dropdown. If no suitable metadata tag exists in the system, you can either create one first, or leave the Tag Name dropdown blank.
  6. Provide a name in the Name field.
  7. Select a data type from the Data Type dropdown list.
  8. Select a scope from the Scope dropdown list.
  9. Set a value for this metadata for this particular form version in the Value field.
  10. Click Save to update the changes. You will see that the metadata value has been added to the "Form Tags" tab.
