Form Property Prefill Mapping Using Drag and Drop

Manager allows you to map form properties to user contact details to prefill a form using drag and drop functionality. Manager uses Adobe FlashAdobe Flash is a deprecated multimedia software platform used for production of animations, rich Internet applications, desktop applications, mobile applications, mobile games and embedded web browser video players. Flash displays text, vector graphics and raster graphics to provide animations, video games and applications. It allows streaming of audio and video, and can capture mouse, keyboard, microphone and camera input. Related development platform Adobe AIR continues to be supported. to implement drag and drop.

Note

Adobe Flash will be phased out by the end of 2020.

To map prefill data elements:

  1. Select a property scope from the Property Scope dropdown list that can be:
    • Client for properties that should be set on an organization level.
    • Form for properties where values are specific to each form version.
    • User for properties sourced from the user profile.
  2. Review the mappings in the property mapping table containing the following columns:
    • Property Name.
    • Scope of the property.
    • Form Data XPath for the XPath of the target data element in the form XML, which is used for prefilling the corresponding field on the form.
    • Target: Form Data XML for the target data element in the form XML.
  3. Drag and drop the field from theTarget: Form Data XML column to Form Data XPath column against the related field in the Property Name column as shown below:
  4. Check that the XPaths are mapped correctly in the middle section.
  5. Click Save to update the changes.
