Open an Earlier Version of a Maestro Form

When you open a form version from the Maestro dashboard, the latest version of the form will be opened. Though this is normally what you want to do, sometimes you may want to open a previous version of the form. After a previous version of the form has been selected and edited, you can choose to set it as the current version of the form.

Since 17.10, the Temenos Journey Manager platform follows open source semantic versioning conventions. Following this convention, all new form version names are recommended to start at version 1.0-develop until they reach production. In versions of Maestro prior to 17.10, form versions are incremented by whole numbers (for example version 1, version 2, version 3, etc.).

There are two methods available to open an earlier version of a form in Maestro.

Method 1

1. Select a form from the Navigator pane.
2. Select a form version.
3. Click Edit Version.

Method 2

Expand the form in the Navigator pane, select the form version that you want to open, and click Edit.

Compare Form Versions

If you have multiple versions of a form, you can download the JSONJSON (JavaScript Object Notation) is an open standard file format and data interchange format that uses human-readable text to store and transmit data objects consisting of attribute–value pairs and arrays. file of each version, and use an external tool to compare the differences between the downloaded form versions. There are two methods of downloading the JSON file of a form version.

Method 1

1. Select the form from the Navigator pane.
2. Select a form version.
3. Click Download JSON.



4. Select a different version from the list and download its JSON file.
5. Using an external tool, you can then compare the differences between the two downloaded JSON files.

Method 2
