The following exercise will involve the Order form.

Extra help is available at the end of this exercise if you get stuck.

Step 1: Open the Order form

1. Open the Order Form.

Step 2: Review the current references

1. Right-click the First Name text field and choose Show References to firstName.
2. Confirm one existing reference to the FullName item.
3. Close the dialog.

Step 3: Add a new Text Field that references First Name

1. Display Page Two of the form.
2. Add a new Text Field and update the ID to FirstNameP2.
3. Update the Label to First Name.
4. With the new Text Field selected, click Create Rule.
5. Click Script (under Calculation).
6. In the dialog, expand Page One, then expand the first Section.
7. Double-click First Name to setup a reference to this component.
8. Click Save then save the form.
9. Preview the form, then enter a sample First Name on Page One, then confirm it displays in First Name on Page Two.
10. Switch back to Design view.

Step 4: Review the updated references

1. Right-click First Name on Page One and choose Show References to First Name.
2. Confirm a second reference to firstNameP2 (on Page Two) now exists.
3. Close the dialog.
4. Save the form, then close it (i.e. the Browser Tab).
