ID Management Exercise v17.10

   PlatformApplicable to all products in Temenos Journey Manager.  |   Form Builder |  All versions   This feature is related to v5.1 and higher.

This exercise will demonstrate the updated functionality for component IDs. You will:

• create a new form
• add a new component
• update the component ID

Extra help is available at the end of this exercise if you get stuck.

Step 1: Create a new form

1. Create a new form using the following details:
   • Form Name: Exercise - ID Management
   • Description: This form is to demonstrate the new ID features
   • Template: Training Template

Step 2: Add a new Text Field component

1. Add a new Text Field into the About You section.
Note

The initial focus is set to ID Property field.

Step 3: Update the Text Field component

1. Update the ID Property value to FirstName.
Note

The Label Property has automatically updated to First Name.

2. Display the Integration pane.
Note

The XML Name and Full Path properties have updated to the new ID.

3. Display the Properties pane and update the ID to FName.
Note

The ‘Label’ remains unchanged and only updates when the initial ‘ID’ is entered.

4. Display the Integration pane.
Note

‘XML Name’ and ‘Full Path’ have updated to the latest ‘ID’ (i.e. ‘FName’).

5. Click Save.
