Upcoming Cloud Architecture Upgrade for Journey Manager AWS Clients

Temenos is committed to providing a secure, high-performing cloud environment for your solutions, leveraging the latest innovations from AWS. Starting February 2026, our Cloud SaaS team will begin a program to upgrade all Journey Manager AWS environments to a more modern and secure architecture.

This upgrade will apply to both Production and Non-Production environments, and includes enhancements to load balancers, application firewalls, and network firewalls.

What this means for you

To ensure a smooth transition, some testing will be required on your side to confirm there are no network issues after the switch to the new architecture.

Program Overview

The upgrade will be delivered in two phases:

Phase 1 – Preparation (No Client Impact)

Your current configuration will remain unchanged.

We will deploy the new architecture in a dormant state to enable a fast transition later.
During this phase, we will contact you individually to schedule cutover dates—starting with your non-production environment, followed by production.

Phase 2 – Cutover to New Infrastructure

We will switch your environments to the new architecture on agreed dates after consultation.
This phase introduces a new firewall. While we have thoroughly tested firewall rules, there may be edge cases specific to certain solutions.

Non-production testing will be critical to ensure everything works as expected before production cutover.
