Upgrade Journey Workspaces from 24.04 to 24.10

• When upgrading to Journey Workspaces 24.10 from any earlier release, we strongly recommend upgrading to the 24.10.1 release which fixes a session timeout issue introduced in the 24.10.0 release. To learn more, see Session timeout behavior fix below.
• Before upgrading to this release (24.10), you must first upgrade your application to Journey Workspaces 24.04.1 which added important security changes to the 24.04 release. To learn more, see Upgrade Journey Workspaces from 23.10 to 24.04.

Breaking changes

Starting from this release, Journey Workspaces requires some new user permissions:

• Submission Data View is required to access form properties and form submission data extracts.
• Submission XML Data View is required to access form XML data.

Add these permissions, as required, to the roles assigned to your users. To learn more, see Deploy and configure > Grant user access.

Session timeout behavior fix

Journey Workspaces 24.10.0 introduced an issue that changes the application behavior on session timeout which may cause confusion to the application user. This issue has been fixed in the 24.10.1 patch release, so we strongly recommend upgrading to Journey Workspaces 24.10.1 or later when upgrading to the 24.10 release.
