HI,

the browser session is set to timeout after 5 minutes of no 'user activity'.

Is that configurable? or can it be changed as a system change request?

Thanks

Hi Mark,

You could make the "Session Expiry Redirect Timeout (Seconds)" a form option, by right clicking on the value in the template and select "Add to Form Options".

Then it would appear in each form under the Form Options button on the toolbar.

Check that it isn't already a Form Option as I've had trouble getting settings to stick when they are duplicated, so have ended using code in the load event, like;

Form.view.properties.sessionExpiryRedirectTimeout = 30;

Hi Bruce,

thanks for the quick response, that's what I was hoping for.

However, that setting is available in the template, so it would apply to all forms that are based on the given template.

Most of our forms don't have the top level 'Form' object as an extension point, so I'm wondering how we would manage this at an individual form level.
If required, we could make it a universal change across all forms, but that will require some more work to manage individual forms as we have some differing requirements for different forms.

Thanks
Mark

Hi Mark,

There is a "Session Expiry Redirect Timeout (Seconds)" property on the Form object.
